I'm sad to report that one of our favorite downtown eateries has closed. Emilio's Bistro, a trendly little spot on Central Avenue, offered tasty food, jazz music on Sundays, and laid back service. The pastry counter was an amazing sight. The layout of the restaurant is narrow, so if potential customers didn't make it past the entryway they may have been put off by a perceived lack of available seating. It is a loss for those Sunday afternoon treks to St. Petersburg.
